47 students of classes IV, V &VI selected for state level  spelling competitions organised by an outside agency- MaRRS Intellectual Services (p) Ltd  &  Ramlal Unnikrishnan & Afad Akbar of Class-VI won First and Second prizes respectively in the National Level  Scholarship Test for Talented  students conducted by T.I.M.E. , a triumphant institute of Management Education Private Ltd at District level, under the guidance of Mrs. Rajani E.V. (T.G.T. English) , K V Kollam .

Mrs.Sobha S Nair PRT attended FLOCK MASTERS BASIC COURSE from 23 April 2009 to 1st May 2009 at Thrissur Police Academy, Kerala. So a unit of Bulbul section was started in KV Kollam and so far 5 meetings were conducted in the month of June and July
